Comparison

HyperLogin vs. TeamViewer

One is an enterprise platform with two decades of features — and an automated commercial-use scanner on its free tier. The other is a fast, end-to-end encrypted remote desktop that stays honestly free for personal use.

Competitor prices and policies on this page are a snapshot, verified against public sources in August 2026. Vendors change their terms — their own sites are the current word; this page records what was true when we checked.

Choose HyperLogin if…

You remote into your own machines, help family and friends, or run a small team that wants transparent per-technician pricing — and you want sessions that nobody can watch, including us.

Choose TeamViewer if…

You manage a large device fleet, need mobile apps and mature deployment tooling today, and an enterprise platform budget is not a problem.

What TeamViewer does better

No tool wins every row — a comparison you can trust says so out loud.

  • Platform coverage: TeamViewer runs on iOS and Android; HyperLogin is desktop-only today (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • Enterprise breadth: device management, integrations and deployment tooling built over two decades.
  • Mature unattended access across every platform, including wake-on-LAN and mass rollout.
The reasons

Why people actually switch

The commercial-use flag

Getting flagged as a business while helping family is the most common complaint. Appeals queue for up to seven business days, and flagged free accounts report sessions cut to about five minutes. HyperLogin has no usage scanner — work use is a licensing question we ask you about, not something an algorithm decides.

Annual-only billing

TeamViewer's entry plan reads $24.90 per month but bills a full year up front — about $298.80. HyperLogin pricing is transparent and per technician, with monthly and annual options.

A relay that cannot watch

HyperLogin sessions are end-to-end encrypted with keys negotiated directly between your devices. Our Swiss-hosted relays forward bytes they cannot decrypt — by design, not by policy.

FAQ

Common questions

Is HyperLogin really free for personal use?

Yes. The free tier is free forever: one seat and 40-minute sessions for personal, non-commercial use. Work use needs a paid plan — but that is a question we ask you, not something an automated scanner decides.

Does HyperLogin have commercial-use detection?

No. Sessions are end-to-end encrypted, so we structurally cannot inspect what you use them for — and we would not want to. Paid work use runs on per-technician licences, on the honour system.
