Comparison

HyperLogin vs. AnyDesk

AnyDesk is famous for low latency. HyperLogin is built on a different premise: a remote-access vendor should be structurally unable to watch your sessions — and its infrastructure should be a boring, safe place for them to pass through.

Competitor prices and policies on this page are a snapshot, verified against public sources in August 2026. Vendors change their terms — their own sites are the current word; this page records what was true when we checked.

Choose HyperLogin if…

You want end-to-end encryption where even a compromised server cannot expose a single session, Swiss-hosted infrastructure, and a free tier that does not nag you into a licence.

Choose AnyDesk if…

You need mobile clients today, or you squeeze every millisecond out of difficult networks — and its recent security history is an acceptable risk for you.

What AnyDesk does better

No tool wins every row — a comparison you can trust says so out loud.

  • Latency: DeskRT is excellent, especially on constrained networks — AnyDesk earned its performance reputation.
  • Mobile apps for iOS and Android; HyperLogin is desktop-only today.
  • Bigger team plans with large managed-device fleets and mature admin tooling.
The reasons

Why people actually switch

Trust is structural, not promised

After the 2024 breach — stolen source code and code-signing keys — the question is not whether a vendor can be breached, but what a breach exposes. HyperLogin sessions are end-to-end encrypted with keys negotiated between your devices: our servers hold nothing that could decrypt them.

The licence nag

AnyDesk's detection prompts regular free users toward a paid licence. HyperLogin's free tier is for personal use and stays free — work use is a licensing question we ask you about, not a popup.

Keys you can verify

Every HyperLogin device has an ECDSA P-256 certificate, and connections show a short verification code you can compare out loud — man-in-the-middle protection you can actually check.

FAQ

Common questions

Is HyperLogin really free for personal use?

Yes. The free tier is free forever: one seat and 40-minute sessions for personal, non-commercial use — with no automated prompts pushing you toward a licence.

What does "zero-knowledge" mean here?

Session keys are negotiated directly between your devices during connection setup. Our signaling servers and relays route encrypted packets but never possess the keys — so neither an insider nor an attacker who compromised our infrastructure could watch a session.
